A board room is a place where a group of people usually those chosen by shareholders to lead a business, meet. It can also be a place where people gather to discuss important business decisions, such as selecting a new CEO, or setting up branches. A boardroom can also be a virtual conference room where groups can meet online. Virtual meetings have numerous benefits, including enhanced governance, more attendance, lower travel costs and increased diversity of board members.

The term»boardroom» could also be used in the context of a sports media channel founded by NBA superstar Kevin Durant. The Boardroom network features conversations with celebrities and athletes about sports and culture. The network is in partnership with NBCSN and also airs the original show The Boardroom With Durant and Rich Kleiman.

In most cases, when a candidate is removed from the show then there will be an emergency Boardroom meeting to discuss their actions. This usually happens if the candidate violated rules or behaved in a manner that irritated other candidates. In season 10, for instance the emergency Boardroom was scheduled after the candidate Anand sent an SMS to his buddies asking them to pay for a taxi in violation of the rules of the show.

The Boardroom is situated on a studio property, and large mirrors hang from the walls. The chairs for advisers are situated on the opposite side of the table from the seats reserved for candidates. The chair of the boss is higher than all others to emphasize his or her power.
